Trump Postpones Israel Trip

Donald Trump’s announcement that he was planning a trip to Israel draws ire.

FOX’s Jessica Golloher has the details from Jerusalem:

Thirty-three members of the Israeli Parliament here signed a letter condemning Trump’s remarks in which he said he would ban all Muslims from entering the U.S. temporarily. They called on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to cancel his meeting with Trump.

Netanyahu did condemn the businessman’s comments.

Now Trump is delaying his trip until, he says, he’s President, telling FOX News he didn’t want to put pressure on Netanyahu…

(Trump) “You know he said we have a meeting and he looks forward to the meeting and all of that but I didn’t want to put him under pressure, number one, I also did it because I’m in the midst of a very powerful campaign that’s going very well and it was not that easy to do.”

The Prime Minister announced earlier this year he will meet with all presidential candidates who ask for a meeting.
