Chicago Police Are Under Investigation

The “patterns and practices” of Chicago Police are now under federal investigation.

    FOX News’ Rachel Sutherland reports:

Nearly two weeks after the Chicago Police released Dash Cam video of a white police officer shooting a black teen 16 times, the Justice Department has opened an investigation into the department…

(Lynch) “We will examine a number of issues related to the Chicago Police Department’s use of force, including its use of deadly force, racial, ethnic disparities, in its use of force.”

Attorney General Loretta Lynch says if unconstitutional practices are discovered, they will be announced publicly and the D.O.J. will seek a court-enforceable agreement with the Chicago P.D.
