Congress is poised to make it harder for some Europeans to travel to the U.S. in the wake of last month's Paris terror attacks.

House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy, who is leading a counter-terrorism task force, unveiled a bill to block travelers who have been to Syria, Iraq, Iran, and Sudan from taking part in the visa-free travel...
Instead, they would need a visa, an additional step to check their backgrounds. Senate Democrats have pitched a similar proposal.
