Turkish F-16s Shoot Down Russian Warplane

Russia and Turkey are pointing fingers at each after Turkish fighters shot down a Russian warplane.

FOX’s Jessica Golloher has more from the Middle East Bureau:

Russian President Vladimir Putin lashing out at Turkey… Saying the downing of Moscow’s Sukhoi jet is a stab in the back by the accomplices of terrorists.

The fate of the two pilots is unclear, this as Col. Steve Warren a spokesman for the U.S.-led coalition in Baghdad says Washington heard Turkey on open channels issuing Russia 10 warnings before the jet was shot down, as FOX reported earlier.

Warren adding the coalition is still gathering all the facts, but the aircraft was shot down at Turkey’s border with Syria… Meanwhile, Moscow has told its citizens not to travel to Turkey.
