State Department Warns Travelers of Heightened Risk of Terror Attacks
Americans are being warned of increased terrorist threats around the world…
Fox News’ Jared Halpern has more from Washington:
The State Department is warning travelers of heightened risk of terror attacks, citing continued threats from ISIS, al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, and other extremist groups.
The Broad Travel Alert which expires in February says authorities believe the likelihood of attacks will continue as members of ISIS return from Syria and Iraq… Americans overseas are urged to avoid large crowds.
This latest threat comes in the aftermath of the Paris attacks earlier this month and amid what’s considered a serious and imminent threat in Brussels, Belgium, a city that will remain at its highest alert level for at least another week.
