FBI Continues to Make Progress on Stolen Guns from Mass. Army Reserve Post

Federal authorities are making progress locating guns stolen from a Massachusetts Army Reserve post.

FOX’s Gurnal Scott has the story:

The FBI says nine of the 16 weapons have been recovered. Five assault rifles and four handguns were found this past weekend in a Bronx, New York, park near Yankee Stadium.

Police also have a suspect in custody. Authorities say James Morales, a former Army reservist, has been linked to the theft through blood evidence and a GPS monitor he was wearing.

Police say Morales cut off the bracelet, but they were able to track him through cellphone signals. The FBI says the theft is not related to terrorism.
