During an appearance on NBC’s “Today” show, Charlie Sheen came clean about the medical condition he’d been hiding for four years…
(Sheen) “I am, in fact, HIV positive.”
He says he decided to reveal the truth because people he trusted were starting to use his diagnosis against him, saying they were extorting him…
(Sheen) “Enough to bring it into the millions… And what people forget is that that’s money they’re taking from my children. They think it’s just me, but I’ve got five kids and a granddaughter.”
Sheen’s doctor says he is healthy and taking his medication, as well as being tested on a regular basis to monitor the disease, adding that he does not have aids.
