Former FIFA President Sepp Blatter Hospitalized
After being hit with corruption claims, the boss of world soccer is in the hospital.
Fox News’ Simon Owen reports from the European bureau:
Sepp Blatter has suffered a small breakdown according to his spokesman, saying his brain and heart are fine, but his body is letting him down.
It’s thought he’s been in a Swiss hospital since sometime last week and he isn’t expected to leave for a few more days.
79-year-old Blatter was suspended last month from his role as President of soccer’s governing body FIFA, an organization he’s led since 1998, but which is currently in turmoil rocked by a U.S. investigation into corruption claims.
Blatter denies doing anything wrong.
