Eight Candidates Gear Up For GOP Debate

Just eight candidates made the cut for the main event at tonight’s GOP Debate…

FOX News’ Jared Halpern is in Milwaukee:

Just eight candidates qualified for the prime-time debate, four others making the cut for the undercard, a frustration for those left out, who argue debate participation should not be based on national polling….

(Preibus) “I�think as we get closer to Iowa and New Hampshire and South Carolina, I would like to see early state polling incorporated in the criteria.”

But Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus adds those criteria are set by networks, not the GOP.

Preibus was highly critical of the last Republican Debate less than two weeks ago… Campaigns too were unhappy with sponsor CNBC.
