FOX News Radio’s Tonya J. Powers spends “A Few Moments With…” Former Marine Ian Michael, Former Marine Ian Michael is traveling the country to give hugs to other vets as part of his Human Hug Project (#hugavet) to help them and himself, combat anxiety and isolation.
The 34-year old had been struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder after serving in the Iraq War in 2003. So he set out to do something about it through the healing power of a simple hug, both to give him the strength to keep going and to embrace others…
And the project is already showing positive results. He’s visited 15 VA hospitals so far and plans to reach 140 more until he hits every VA facility in the U.S. and took some time out to talk to Fox News Radio’s Tonya J. Powers.
