FOX News Poll: Voters Satisfied with White House Moves on Fighting Terror
New FOX poll numbers indicate voters are mostly satisfied with strategic White House moves in fighting the war on terror.
FOX News’ Gurnal Scott has the story:
President Obama’s choice to put only a small number of “boots on the ground” in Syria is acceptable to 54% of those surveyed.
Only 50 Special Ops soldiers will be sent there to aid in the fight against ISIS. On the opposite end, the President’s reversal on a troop draw-down from Afghanistan delaying it until after 2016, is favored by 49% of respondents.
Democrats heavily favor the tactics while Republicans are evenly split. These results likely contribute to a 3% jump in the President’s overall approval rating to 45%.
