Chris Stapleton Puts His Name on the Map at CMA’s

A big night for a relatively unknown singer at the Country Music Awards.

FOX News’ Michelle Pollino reports:

There’s a new artist that dominated the 49th Annual Country Music Awards on ABC… Chris Stapleton won three awards and had one of the best performances of the night alongside Justin Timberlake

(Stapleton and Timberlake) “I can’t drink you… I can’t drink you away…”

Stapleton won ‘Male Vocalist,’ ‘New Artist of the Year,’ and ‘Album of the Year.’ The Kentucky native’s been around town for awhile, penning hits like Luke Bryan’s ‘Drink a Beer,’ George Strait’s ‘Love’s Gonna Make It Alright,’ and Kenny Chesney’s ’Never Wanted Nothing More.’

Bryan took home his second straight win as ‘Entertainer of the Year.’ And for the sixth straight year, Miranda Lambert won ‘Female Vocalist.’
