Adult Use of Marijuana Act Proposal Submitted in California
A new ballot initiative in California to legalize recreational marijuana for adults is being called the one to watch.
FOX News’ Kathleen Maloney has the details:
The so-called Adult Use of Marijuana Act is one of more than a dozen proposals submitted for the November 2016 election ballot… But it has the backing of tech billionaire Sean Parker and other wealthy businessmen.
The California Cannabis Industry Association believes they have resources needed to mount a successful campaign.
The measure would allow adults 21 and over to buy an ounce of marijuana and pot-infused products at licensed outlets. Adults could also grow up to six pot plants for personal use.
