Russian Passenger Jet Brought Down in Egypt Remains Under Investigation
The ISIS claim that it brought down a Russian passenger jet over Egypt remains under investigation.
FOX News’ Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:
National Intelligence Chief James Clapper says we’ll have to wait until the plane’s black boxes are recovered to find out more.
(Clapper) “There is a very aggressive ISIL chapter in the Sinai. But we really don’t know.”
Clapper told the Defense One Summit while he won’t rule it out, it’s unlikely the terror group has the ability to shoot down a plane.
The operator of the doomed plane said today only an external impact could have caused the dive.
