New Gun Laws in Two Major California Cities

New gun laws have been passed in two major California cities…

FOX News Radio’s Jessica Rosenthal reports:

San Francisco supervisors will require video recording of all gun and ammunition sales. and require ammunition sellers provide police with weekly sales updates.

The city’s last gun store is closing precisely because of legislation like this, and calls to many sporting goods stores indicate ammunition isn’t sold in the city.

Michael Palombo, of ‘Certified Firearms Instructor Training’ in the Bay Area says he’s not surprised by the laws but…

(Palombo) “I think people have a belief that people who live in San Francisco are all tofu eating peace activists but there’s a lot of people interested in firearms, as a sport, for entertainment or for self defense.”

The City Council in Los Angeles passed a law that will require gun owners keep their guns in a locked boxes or accessible only after a trigger lock’s been disabled.
