Obama Administration Considering New Strategy to Fight ISIS

A new U.S. strategy is in the works for taking on ISIS.

FOX News Radio’s Jon Decker reports from the White House:

FOX News has confirmed that the President is considering moving U.S. troops closer to the front lines in Iraq and Syria. Meanwhile, in testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee, Defense Secretary Ash Carter said there will be an increasing involvement of U.S. forces on the ground in Iraq.

(Carter) “From the skies above, we expect to intensify our air campaign, including with additional U.S. and coalition aircraft to target ISIL with a higher and heavier rate of strikes.”

Carter said he is not in favor of a no-fly zone in war-torn Syria.
