‘The Shining’ Hotel to Become First Horror Themed Museum

‘The Shining’ hotel to become world’s first horror themed museum.

FOX News Radio’s Bill Vitka reports:

(The Shining) “Here’s Johnny!!!”

The Overlook Hotel is where people check in, but don’t always check out.

It’s where Jack Torrance played by Jack Nicholson in the movie ‘The Shining’ succumbs to evil.

It was the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, that was Stephen King’s real inspiration and now the Stanley wants to be more like its spooky cinematic off-spring.

Plans have been announced to turn it into the ‘Stanley Film Center,’ the world’s first horror themed museum, film archive and production studio.

On the founding board are horror icons George Romero, Elijah Wood, and Simon Pegg, but the scariest part is still ahead… They still need money to build it.
