Obamacare Challenged Again In Court

Obamacare challenged again in court. This time on a technicality.

FOX News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland reports:

The Pacific Legal Foundation is appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court, claiming the Affordable Care Act violates a constitutional provision requiring tax-raising bills to originate in the House of Representatives.

Timothy Sandefur is a lawyer for the group…

(Sandefur) ”The founding fathers wrote the origination clause in order to prevent laws like the A.C.A. from going into effect.”

Nicholas Bagley, with the University of Michigan Law School doubts the high court will intervene. The Pacific Legal Foundation is vowing to press on with more appeals if this one is unsuccessful.
