Republican Congressman Paul Ryan says he's willing to run for Speaker of the House, but only under certain conditions.
FOX News Radio's Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington:
Representative Ryan, who chairs the powerful Ways and Means Committee, says he'll only run for House Speaker if has has the support of all factions of the Republican caucus. He says the party has become the problem, and is letting down the people they serve.
(Ryan) "If my colleagues entrust me to be the Speaker, I want us to become the solution."
Ryan has young children, and says he will not sacrifice family time for the job. He's waiting until Friday to make a decision, to see if the party unites behind him.
