New Economy Reports Show More Cars and Clothes Bought In September

There are two new reports out on the economy.

FOX News Radio’s Dave Anthony reports:

We bought more cars and clothes last month and dined out more, but Americans also paid less at the gas pump… And that put a damper on overall U.S. retail sales, rising just .1%.

How much cheaper is gasoline? Nearly 17% on a wholesale level keeping a lid on inflation.

In another Government Report that shows producer prices dropped a half percent in September and are down more than a percent from one year ago.

Inflation and consumer spending are two things the Federal Reserve keeps monitoring as it considers when to raise interest rates.
