Honeybees Swarm Oklahoma Patrol Car

If you thought your commute was tough today, be thankful it didn’t involve hundreds of thousands of bees.

FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso reports:

This is the sound from inside Garvin County Sheriff’s Deputy Carl Zink’s cruiser yesterday. It was covered with tens of thousands of bees after a truck carrying upwards of one million honeybees overturned on southbound I-35, south of Oklahoma City.

Dozens of crates carrying bees broke open. We’re told only a couple of people, including the deputy suffered minor bee stings and traffic was backed up for miles as beekeepers worked to capture as many as possible. No word on what caused the big rig to crash.
