Make Your Own Soda with New Keurig Machine

Want to make soft drinks at home? A new device will do the trick.

FOX News Radio’s Pat O’Neill has more:

You may know Keurig for its machines that let you brew one cup of coffee or tea at a time at your home or office by inserting a pod and pressing a button.  Now it has a similar machine for cold drinks.

Keurig KOLD makes single servings of Coke, Sprite, Dr. Pepper and flavored seltzers, but some folks may gulp at the price. It retails for about $370, although Keurig says that could drop to as low as $300, depending on promotions. Each drink pod also costs a little over a $1.00.

While that may not save you any money, the company says it means you won’t have to deal with carting around and storing bottles and cans. Some critics say its still cheaper to just buy soda.
