FIFA President Sepp Blatter will remain in his job and has not done anything illegal, says his lawyer.
FOX News Radio's Kitty Logan reports:
The statement from Blatter's lawyer comes after criminal proceedings were launched against the current FIFA President last Friday.
It said Blatter had no intention of leaving his post before his planned departure next February.
Blatter himself was back at FIFA headquarters on Monday. His lawyer said he told his employees that he was co-operating with the investigating authorities.
Meanwhile, UEFA leader Michel Platini says he's willing to give FIFA's ethics committee any information required. He says payments from FIFA were declared in compliance with Swiss law.
