Pope Francis was welcomed to the White House Wednesday by President Obama and the First Lady.

In a ceremony on the South Lawn both President Obama and Pope Francis addressed the crowd.

FOX News Radio's Jon Decker was in attendance:

Speaking from the South Lawn of the White House with President Obama at his side, Pope Francis praised the President for focusing on the environment and the need to cut air pollution.

(Pope Francis) "It seems clear to me also that climate change is a problem which can no longer be left to our future generation."

With 11,000 invited guests looking on the Pope also called for safeguarding religious liberty and rejecting discrimination.
