Migrant Crisis In Hungary
Migrants coming into Europe through Hungary are being met by a wall at the border.
FOX News Radio’s Simon Owen reports from the Hungary-Serbia border:
I’m standing in the middle of the countryside among fields of crops. But in between the fields, this 100 mile long border is now marked with a 13-foot-tall barrier — meshed metal at the top, coils of razor wire piled at the bottom. You can see bits of shredded clothing where refugees and other migrants have tried to climb through and the fence is almost complete. Hungary says it’s necessary, but other European countries are uneasy about this being the first sight of Europe for people escaping war. One EU lawmaker just visiting here told us it’s shameful.
