Who Will Win The Chase?
The engines are quiet this weekend in the Sprint Cup Series, as drivers prepare for the last two races of the regular season before the Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship kicks off next month… Martin Truex Jr. on the power of a one car team and fans offer their picks on who they’d like to win the Cup this year:
FOX News Radio’s Marghiee Teshineh reports in “FOX in the Fast Lane”:

The 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup season has seen the usual big teams and drivers like Jimmie Johnson, Kevin Harvick and Joey Logano win and pretty much guarantee their place in the Chase.
One exception to the rule, Martin Truex Jr., driving for the one car team Furniture Row Racing. When he won the June race at Pocono, I asked him about the perception that one car teams can’t compete for championships:
(Truex Jr.) ”There’s room for a lot more competitive single car teams to kind of evolve, and come to the forefront and being able to compete – you know be on the same level as a Hendrick or a Gibbs.”
But, who do fans think will win the Chase? For Ed Pucci, the choice is simple…
(Ed Pucci) “I’m going say Dale Jr.”
It’s a tough call for Jonathan between a past champ and Kyle Busch who is now Chase eligible…
(Jonathan Morrissey) “I’m a Jimmie Johnson guy so obviously I want see him, but I would love to see Kyle make it.”
And for Justin…
(Justin Wise) “I think Kevin Harvick has a pretty good chance to repeat again.”
Next week, NASCAR goes to Darlington.
