More Democrats Signal Support For Iran Nuclear Deal

Two more Democrats say yes to the Iran nuclear deal in the U.S. Senate as the White House tries to get a veto-proof margin.

FOX News Radio’s Jared Halpern reports from Washington:

Michigan’s Debbie Stabenow is the latest Senate Democrat to say she’ll support the Iran nuclear deal, becoming the 28th Senate Democrat to sign-on, a day after Democratic leader Harry Reid also threw his influential support behind the agreement.

It will take 34 votes to block a veto-override should the Senate vote down the agreement next month, but even that is now looking more difficult.

Republican opponents will need several Democrats to join them to even advance a disapproval bill beyond a 60-vote filibuster threshold.
