Oh, baby! New or about-to-be parents may want to take note of what Silicon Valley company Netflix is now offering its employees.

Another way to attract and retain the best and brightest, Netflix, giving new parents on its payroll up to a year of paid leave. Company official Tawni Cranz noting people perform better at work when they’re not worrying about home.

Netflix new policy covers all of roughly 2,000 employees working for the company’s video streaming and DVD services. Along with the baby benefit, most Netflix workers also get lucrative stock options and they get unlimited vacation time… If they get their assignments done and fulfill other job requirements.
