Carnival’s planning on sailing some cruise ships to Cuba.

FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports from Miami:

Carnival cruise lines has been awarded permission from the feds to sail to Cuba from the U.S.

The cruising company says they’re still waiting on approval from the Cuban government, but they plan to use Cuba as a destination for a new cruising brand called Fathom, which is intended to give passengers a more socially and culturally aware travel experience.

The cruises would depart from here in Miami, and would be a week-long experience.

How much? For one person, it’ll be $3,000 before taxes for the seven-day trip.
