The Oklahoma Supreme Court rules that the Ten Commandments have no place at the State Capitol.
FOX News Radio's Jeff Monosso reports:
A Ten Commandments monument on the Oklahoma Capitol grounds is a religious symbol and must come down, says Oklahoma's Supreme Court, ruling that it violates the state's constitutional ban on using public property to benefit a religion.
The American Civil Liberties Union filed the suit, saying it's pleased with the outcome, while Republican State Rep. Mike Reynolds - and others argue...
(Reynolds) "It's not a religious monument - it's a historical monument - and if they want to try to change history - they're not going to succeed."
The removal of the monument is on hold pending a state petition for a re-hearing, while several lawmakers are also calling for impeachment of the justices.
