Jep & Jessica Robertson, stars of Duck Dynasty, joined Kilmeade & Friends in studio to discuss the shooting in Charleston, whether the Confederate flag should banned and their new book “The Good, The Bad, and The Grace of God: What Honesty and Pain Taught Us About Faith, Family, and Forgiveness”

On Charleston, Jep & Jessica told Brian they can’t even imagine what was going through the shooters mind because as people of deep faith, they are guided by love, not hatred.
Jep & Jessica are mixed over whether the Confederate flag should be banned. Jep said in the south, the confederate flag has been a part of their culture and he feels the people of the south don’t view the flag as a symbol of racism.
While talking about their new book, Jep looked back on his younger days when he was in a dark place with addiction and explained how his family had an intervention, getting tough love from his father, who gave him an ultimatum to straighten up or ship out. Jessica spoke about how they first met, Jessica said it was at the beauty parlor but Jep insists it was a barber shop.
