General Mills, which makes the ever-popular Cheerios, says more than 60% of its cereals already have no artificial ingredients. They'll boost that to 90% by the end of next year.

Not anymore. Trix will be among the first to drop artificial flavors and colors later this year and only four colors will be left.

General Mills says it couldn't find natural alternatives to give the blue and green the right color and taste.

And it could take longer to find the new formula that keeps colored marshmallows, magically delicious.
