The Texas police officer seen on a viral video pinning down a teenage girl and drawing his firearm has resigned his position.

Eric Casebolt of the McKinney, Texas Police Department has quit his job, after a video of him pulling his firearm on rowdy teens went viral. Police Chief Greg Conley says it was indefensible.
(Conley) "He came into the call out of control, and as the video shows, was out of control during the incident. I had twelve officers on the scene, and eleven of them performed according to their training."
The officers were called to a community pool where the teens acting out. But Casebolt is seen throwing a teenage, bikini-clad girl to the ground. The girl was not armed.
