Anheuser-Busch Halts Production To Send Free Water To Flood Victims
Brands of beer brewed by Anheuser-Busch may be in short supply for a small while, as the company has halted production at it’s brewery in Georgia in order to send cans of drinking water to victims of floods in Texas and Oklahoma.
FOX News Radio’s Eben Brown reports:
Texans and Oklahomans cleaning up in the midst of deadly and devastating floods can crack open a cold one… a nice can of Anheuser-Busch water. Plain old, non-alcoholic, low-calorie drinking water.
The company is supplying the water in special cans with the brewery’s logo, in lieu of making beer, so that flood victims will have plenty of fresh water to drink.
Anheuser-Busch regularly packages and ships the emergency water a couple of times each year. They’ve also been supplying the water to drought-stricken families in California.
