The Pentagon says there's no risk to the public after making a mistake handling anthrax.
FOX News Radio's Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington.
Live anthrax was shipped to government and commercial labs in as many as nine states, as well as overseas, over the course of a year... And now, four lab workers are getting preventive treatment for the dreaded disease.
The Pentagon says the deliveries have been stopped and that officials are investigating the inadvertent shipments from Dugway Proving Ground in Utah. The spores that were shipped were supposed to have been dead.
