Another major food company gives artificial ingredients the boot.

FOX News Radio's Lilian Woo reports.

Taco Bell and Pizza Hut announcing a shift to natural ingredients, as consumers increasingly call for healthier foods.

The Mexican style chain owned by Yum Brands says, for instance, actual black pepper will replace black pepper flavor on its seasoned beef.

Also, that artificial dyes will be removed from its nacho cheese and avocado ranch dressing by the end of the year.

High-fructose corn syrup and unsustainable palm oil also on the target list at Taco Bell, which says the company will work to keep its menu affordable.

Pizza Hut, also owned by Yum, plans to remove artificial flavors and colors by the end of July.
