Fleet Week is underway in New York City, with Sailors, Marines, and the Coast Guard living it up on dry land.

FOX News Radio's Gurnal Scott has the story.

Marine Corporal Graham Sapp says it was his first time in New York, and it's just like he was told.

(Sapp) "Big, bustling, craziness going on...Try not to get run over."

But, he and hundreds of other Marines, Sailors and Coast Guard's men and women are trying to keep up with the city that never sleeps. They want to have a great time, but as Navy Seaman Justiss Arriata tells it, they also want to show what the military has...

(Arriata) "What we do have is a bunch of young sailors, who are eager to serve our country."

This is the 27th year of Fleet Week. It will run through the 26th.
