Patriots Owner Robert Kraft Will Not Appeal Deflategate Penalties
The owner of the New England Patriots announces they won’t appeal the team’s penalties for deflategate.
FOX News Radio’s Gurnal Scott has details:
Robert Kraft says he’ll do it “reluctantly”, but will allow the $1 million fine and docking of two draft picks by the NFL to stand.
The League accused the team and quarterback Tom Brady of a general knowledge of deflated game balls before January’s AFC title game. Kraft says fighting it sends the wrong message.
(Kraft) ”At no time should the agenda of one team outweigh the collective good of the full 32.”
Kraft’s decision does not affect Brady’s appeal of a four-game suspension already filed by the Players Union.
