Investigators Reveal Germanwings Co-Pilot Seemingly Practiced Fatal Descent
An initial report into the Germanwings plane crash reveals some chilling details about the co-pilot leading up to the crash.
FOX News Radio’s Simon Owen has the story from London.
French investigators saying it seems Andreas Lubitz practiced entering the fatal descent settings — several times on the Germanwings plane’s previous flight, heading from Germany to Spain, before it crashed on the return leg, flying back to Germany a few hours later.
Each time on the first flight he then quickly restored the flight altitude to where it was supposed to be, so passengers and crew may well have noticed nothing.
Investigators had already said they believe the crash was deliberate. 150 people were killed.
