Maryland Governor Lifts State Of Emergency In Baltimore

An emergency order imposed after riots in Baltimore is now lifted.

FOX News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland reports:

Rescinding the state of emergency, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan thanked the Mayor and first-responders and said:

(Gov. Hogan) ”All National Guard, state police, and other police personnel and all the assets that we brought in have now been removed from the city.”

…following the riots over the death of Freddie Gray. Six officers face charges in his death, and Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake is asking the Justice Department to conduct a top-to-bottom review of the police department to uncover any possible unconstitutional practices.
