A security officer is recovering after being shot outside an art contest for cartoons showing prophet Muhammad.
FOX News Radio's Tonya J. Powers has the story.
The men had driven up as the event was ending, and began shooting at the security officer. Police returned fire, killing them.
YouTube user "theunitedwest" posted a video from the center during the attack...
(Sound From YouTube Video) "Police officer's been shot, two suspects have been shot... Possibly have explosives on them, okay... that's what we're worried about right now..."
The contest was hosted by the American Freedom Defense Initiative, and had planned to award $10,000 for the best cartoon depicting Muhammad.
Mainstream Islamic tradition holds that any physical depiction of Muhammad is considered blasphemy.
