The United States is pledging more money and support to help Nepal recover from the deadly earthquake.
FOX News Radio's Gurnal Scott has the story:
Secretary of State John Kerry took time during a news conference with Japanese leaders to say that America is stepping up its contribution to help the devastated area.
(Kerry) "An additional $9 million for Nepal earthquake response and recovery efforts. This is in addition to the $1 million already provided."
Secretary of Defense Ash Carter also said military C-17 transport planes are headed to the region.
(Carter) "With USAID support, search and rescue personnel and supplies on board."
The quake's death toll has surpassed 4,000, with many still unaccounted for.
