The United States is pledging more money and support to help Nepal recover from the deadly earthquake.
FOX News Radio’s Gurnal Scott has the story:
Secretary of State John Kerry took time during a news conference with Japanese leaders to say that America is stepping up its contribution to help the devastated area.
(Kerry) “An additional $9 million for Nepal earthquake response and recovery efforts. This is in addition to the $1 million already provided.”
Secretary of Defense Ash Carter also said military C-17 transport planes are headed to the region.
(Carter) ”With USAID support, search and rescue personnel and supplies on board.”
