Country's power couple was missing at the Academy of Country Music Awards, but there's a good reason, however it was a surprise to see Randy Travis at the ceremony, but there's an even bigger surprise in store for fans... FOX News Radio Entertainment Correspondent, Michelle Pollino has the scoop on the Country music stars making headlines this week:

FOX Country. I'm Michelle Pollino. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, two of country music's biggest stars, but they were not a part of Sunday's Academy of Country Music Awards, even though Tim was nominated. However, they have a good reason. The couple was in New York for the premiere of Hill's new movie, "Dixieland", at the Tribeca Film Festival, and McGraw was by her side for support.  "Dixieland" is an indie film... a crime drama that also stars Elvis Presely's granddaughter, Riley Keough; as well as Steve Earle and Breaking Bad's RJ Mitte. McGraw joins Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert at Stagecoach: California's Country Music Festival in Indio this weekend. __________ Fans were elated to see Randy Travis' surprise appearance at Sunday's awards, and here's even happier news... The country star recently married his fiancee, Mary Davis. People Magazine reporting that they were married last month. Davis helped the singer thru many financial and health hurdles before and following the singers' stroke in 2013. That's FOX Country on FOX News Radio.
