Kraft making a change to one of their products that’s a favorite of kids.

FOX News Radio’s Lisa Lacerra reports:

(Commercial) “Gooey, creamy, cheesy Kraft Macaroni & Cheese… You know you love it.”

The Illinois-based company announcing that starting in January, it’s dropping artificial preservatives and synthetic colors from its Macaroni & Cheese sold in the U.S.

Instead they will use paprika, annatto and turmeric.

Two years ago a change.org petition spurred by activist Vani Hari, who blogs under the name “Food Babe”, asked Kraft to remove the dyes. About 365,000 people signed the petition.

The company says they have been working for some time to make the changes to their product but wanted to make sure customers wouldn’t notice a change in taste.
