“True Story” — is just that. The true story of Michael Finkel, who, after being fired from his job as a reporter, comes across accused murderer Christian Longo, a man who assumed Finkel’s identity. The story follows Finkel’s investigation into Longo and the complicated relationship that forms between the two.
Finkel’s memoir has been made into a major motion picture starring Jonah Hill and James Franco. “True Story”, the movie, is out in select theaters April 17.
