Marine Corps Foundation Helping Families Get Children Through College

Margaret Davis, President of the Marine Corps Foundation, and Amanda Beckett, a scholarship recipient, talked to Brian on Kilmeade and Friends about the Leatherneck Scholarship Ball which helped raise money and awareness of the foundation’s work and financial help for Marine families to get their children through college.

Margaret explained that they will fund anyone who qualifies to give back to the families of the men who served their nation. Margaret also told Brian that the foundation not only helps today’s Marine children but even children of past Marines including 3 children of World War II Navajo Indian code talkers. Amanda, a daughter of a Vietnam era Marine talked about what the scholarship means to her and the doors it opened for her.
