Sabra is recalling hummus over listeria concerns.

FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso reports:

Sabra is voluntarily recalling some 30,000 cases of its classic hummus and pulling it from store shelves nationwide due to possible contamination with listeria.

The company says the recall is limited to five stock keeping units of classic hummus, that none of the affected units have been linked to any illness, and that no other sabra products have been affected by the recall.

Listeria can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people and others with weakened immune systems.
