Blue Bell Expands Ice Cream Recall
Texas-based Blue Bell Creameries is expanding a recall of its ice cream amid a listeria scare.
FOX News Radio’s Jeff Monosso reports:
Blue Bell Creameries is expanding an ongoing recall after ice cream produced at the company’s Broken Arrow, Oklahoma plant tested positive for listeria.
The plant has voluntarily shut down. Blue Bell recalling several ice cream flavors including banana pudding, butter crunch and homemade vanilla, multiple sherbet flavors and other products shipped to stores and service providers in more than 20 states.
The CDC, last week, warned us not to eat any Blue Bell-branded products from that Oklahoma plant, but the warning doesn’t affect other Blue Bell products made elsewhere.
