ISIS ‘Hit List’ Targeting U.S. Military Service Members [VIDEO]
The Pentagon is notifying service members that they’re on an ISIS hit list.
FOX News Radio’s Rachel Sutherland reports from Washington.
A group calling itself the “Islamic State Hacking Division” claims it broke into servers to get information about service members, but Defense Secretary Ash Carter says there was no hacking involved.
(Carter) “Information taken from social websites and publicly available. It wasn’t stolen from any DOD websites or any confidential databases.”
The list features the names, addresses and photos of 100 service members and the group calls on sympathizers to kill them.
The Pentagon has been contacting people on the list, urging them to be vigilant.
